The web site www.capicchioni.com was created by Marcello and Vittorio Villa. We conceived this non-profit enterprise to investigate thoroughly one of the XXth century major violin maker's work. We encourage active collaboration between collectors, performers and violin makers in order to increase the information that specialised literature gives on the subject and to draw up a reliable census of Capicchioni's existing instruments.
